It is with immense excitement that we present SMWS legendary founder Pip Hills' debut on our Youtube channel. This once in a lifetime experience marks the official start to The Gathering 2020, a global celebration of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society’s rich heritage and our shared passion to discovering the world’s finest spirits.

In this rare appearance, Pip shared his first-hand account of what it was like to establish The Scotch Malt Whisky Society back in the early 1980’s, regaled tales with SMWS America founder, Alan Shayne, and much more.
