A Welsh Adventure invites you to discover the unique expressions of Wales' first distillery in a century! Distillery 128 differs from most malt producers in its use of only one copper pot still for the entire distillation process. Scottish distilleries typically use two stills for distillation – the wash still and spirit still. Distillery 128 uses the Faraday Still that employs a series of perforated plates to help condense the vapors, yielding a pure spirit that will develop into a complex and flavourful whisky during maturation.

Cask No. 128.14 The tiger’s eye combines bold make from the Faraday still with full-term maturation in an Oloroso sherry cask for an indulgent tasting experience! The profile is redolent with juicy tropical fruits, gingerbread, chocolate and caramel with a buttery texture from start to finish. Cask No. 128.16 The magic Faraday tree entices with the concentrated aromas and flavours garnered from full maturation in a shaved, toasted and re-charred barrique. Tropical fruits persist on the nose and palate with jammy fruits, vanilla and accents of toffee and molasses coming through as well. These are big, expressive drams that offer loads of complexity, so raise a glass to the spectacular single malts being crafted in Wales.... lloniannau!

If ordered separately: Cask No. 128.14= $155; Cask No. 128.16= $165.
