About Directly fired and to the point: The original Society distillery is back sporting a “naked” expression of the full-bodied distillate. Get ready for waves of tropical fruits in this waxy and wonderful mouth-filler of a dram!

Tasting Panel Note: This one possessed a wonderful and immediate sense of 'fatness', the Panel agreed. Lots of notes such as yellow fruits, dessert wines, pineapple jelly and mango lassi were recorded. With water we found it became richer and breadier, with sandalwood, flower pollens and darjeeling tea. The palate was surprisingly waxy in texture, this distillery's directly fired wash still making its presence felt. We got heather honey, wildflowers, juicy fruit chewing gum and vanilla foam. Water made it drier and earthier, with impressions of turmeric, lanolin and mossy tree bark.
