At first we found a real mixed bag full of dried seaweed, lemon powder, hessian, pebbles, ointments and sunflower oil, plus chocolate limes, bran flakes and orange soda. Lots of fun things happening in here we agreed. Water brought out limoncello, rice wine, pineapple rings and white miso with traces of bread dough and hay bales. The neat palate was initially full of big, direct fruity flavours such as peaches, nectarines, greengages, pear cordial and lime syrup. After that we found some peppermint tea, sunflower seeds and crushed nettles. Reduction maintained the general fruitiness with bubblegum, fruit salad juices and lemon barley water. Further notes of guava and mango jam made us think of some very old Irish whiskeys.
