A warming, tingling aroma of buttered crumpets, cinder toffee, orange zest and peppery walnuts was followed on the palate by a cocktail called the Harvey Wallbanger made from three ingredients - Vodka, Galliano and fresh orange juice garnished with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry. Water added on the nose burnt raisins, caramel sauce and shea butter while the taste was nutty and sweet, sugar-coated hazelnuts and in the finish glazed dried apricots with cinnamon. Following twenty-five months in a heavy toasted and medium charred barrique, it was moved for a further 16 months into a bourbon barrel before being transferred into a 2nd fill Sauternes barrique.
