Chocolate and vanilla melt into coffee, cigar box and leather for a sophisticated second dram. “Deep, rich & dried fruits” Cask No. 41.161 A modern masterclass sees maturation in Chinkapin oak. This species (Quercus Muehlenbergii) is a close relative of American White Oak (Quercus alba) but imparts darker flavours, like smoked meats and maple syrup, on its contents.
